Vertigo Sound VSE-2 Gyrator EQ

The Vertigo Sound VSE-2 is a dual channel discrete Gyrator which can be used tracking, mix buss and mastering. The VSE-2 boasts six discrete gyrators which produces a tube-like distortion at the chosen frequency. Each band provides +/- 8dB of gain powered by discrete op-amps and up to six selectable frequencies per band. Add to this a high-pass filter with selectable frequencies ranging from 10Hz to 400Hz and the unique AIR mode providing additional enhancement of the auditory threshold, and the VSE-2 makes the sound of the golden decades of analog recording equipment available in today’s studio environment.

Featuring two identical channels of equalization with three gyrators filters each, the VSE-2 can be used simply for tracking as a dual-mono EQ or particularly on the mix bus where its ability to gently nudge chosen areas in a powerful way would provide an impeccable tool to any engineer.
